In the Literature House in Salzburg, two powerful women's voices of the young literary landscape of Bosnia and Herzegovina were to be discovered. The literary evening From Mostar to Banja Luka with Tatjana Bijelić and Senka Marić was organised by the literary forum Leselampe in close cooperation with TRADUKI. It took place in the scope of the focus year Bosnia and Hercegovina of the Austrian Foreign Ministry (BMEIA).
The Austrian Federal Ministery for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs (BMEIA) invites writers from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo to apply for one- to two-month residencies in Vienna during 2017. The writers will have the opportunity to live in an apartment in the centre of Vienna, in the Quartier 21 in the MuseumsQuartier, and will receive a fellowship of 1,050 EUR. During their stay, the writers will have a possibility to publicly present their work. Eligible to apply are writers with at least one published book (novel, poetry, theatre).
In the beginning of October, the 2nd International Book Fair took place in Podgorica. As in the first edition last year, TRADUKI was there with a book stand, on which the network and its activities were presented. On October 8, Hana Stojić, Jelena Knežević, Jovan Nikolaidis and Dragan Radulović presented the 146 Issue of the Magazine LICHTUNGEN with the focus on the new literature from Montenegro“.
