The last guest of the Writers in Residence program Absolute Modern in 2017 was the Kosovar writer Elife Krasniqi. The TRADUKI-supported program allowed her to live and work for four weeks in Skopje. During her stay, she worked on her latest poetry book and on her doctoral thesis.
Three fellowships in the second half of 2017 marked the beginning of the residence program for writers in translators in the House of Literature and Translation in Sofia, the program that is supported by TRADUKI.
Three fellowships in autumn 2017 marked the launch of the program Literary Residency in Cetinje – Writers in the residenz in Cetinje – Writers in the Historic Capital, which means that TRADUKI now supports also a writers in residence program also in Montenegro. The publishing house Otvoreni kulturni forum (OKF), the organizer oft he residency, welcomed Tomislav Marković from Serbia in September, Petar Andonovski from Macedonia in October, and Nenad Rizvanović from Croatia in November.
