Leipzig Book Fair the review, “Minor languages – Great literature”, is taking place on 21st March 2011 at 8 pm in the Berlin Literary Workshop under the title “European Moments.” This year the review focuses on the Leipzig book Fair, “Serbia” and on Croatia. Readings will be by: Nada Gašić (Croatia), Jovan Nikolić (Cologne) and Zoran Živković (Serbia). The event is moderated by the literary critic Joachim Scholl.Following on from the
Danijela Tkalec rendered outstanding services to Croatian culture. In addition to many well-known works she also translated Goethe’s Farbenlehre (title of the English translation: Theory of Colours) and Gott schauen [See God] by Hildegard von Bingen. For TRADUKI she worked on the translation of Hitlers Volksstaat: Raub, Rassenkrieg und nationaler Sozialismus [Hitler’s People’s State: Robbery, Racial War and National Socialism] (Götz Aly), which will be published shortly by Fraktura.
