The Reading Balkans project offers also in 2019 a possibility for Writers-in-Residence fellowships. Available are 21 residential stays in the duration of four weeks in Novo mesto, Belgrade, Skopje, Split, Tirana, Prishtina, and Sarajevo. The call for applications is open for writers until November 4th, 2018.
Also in 2019, the S. Fischer Foundation will support translators of German-language literature by making available Schritte-Fellowships. Eligible to apply for a one-month stay in LCB and a 2.000 EUR gramt, are translators from Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Albania, and Turkey.
The Robert Bosch Foundation in cooperation with the Literary Colloquium Berlin have published a new call for applications for the Crossing Borders Programme. For the first time, applications for all African countries are possible.
