The association RK LINKS from Belgrade organized another lecture in the cycle “On Oblivion and the Forgotten Ones”. In front of a full audience, the architect dr. Ljiljana Blagojević spoke about “Archiamnesia”. In the form of an inner dialogue of an architect between projects and projections, history, theory, and interpretation, she discussed the question if the architectural planning as a projection presupposes the new amnesia. Is this a complete or a partial amnesia? How many pieces of memory make amnesia are inconsistent?
The writer, theatre, and performance artist Jean-Lorin Sterian was the September guest of the writers in residence program of the association KROKODI. He used his month in Belgrade to do a research for his collection of essays and to work on his PhD. He met with a number of artists, organizers, and actors of the independent art scene. Among others, he met with the actor and performance musician Đorđe Branković, the organizer and director of the festival Kondenz for modern dance Marijana Cvetković and the body artist Marina Marković. Following his stay in Serbia, Jean-Lorin Sterian travelled to Zagreb, where he will continue with his work during his residence fellowship of the Museum for Contemporary Art.
Residential fellowships are, especially for young writers, a good opportunity to present their work to the broad public and to find ways for their works to be translated and published abroad. In Sarajevo, the PEN Centre of Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomed the writer of the young generation Muanis Sinanović as the last guest of their writers in residence program in Sarajevo.
