Macedonia is New Member of TRADUKI Network

583 mazedonien beitritt traduki by nellyrodriguezOn 14 November 2017, the network TRADUKI a new member joined TRADUKI. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia joined in an official ceremony during the 20th meeting of the Steering Committee of TRADUKI that took place in the Museum Kleines Klingental in Basel, Switzerland. The signature under the accession agreement was given by the Minister for Culture, Robert Alagjozovski, who participated in the ensuing working meeting of all TRADUKI partners.

Book Presentation in Belgrade: Jürgen Kocka presents Capitalism: A Short History

595 juergen kockaThe publishing house Clio, with the support of TRADUKI, organised several promotions with Jürgen Kocka, whose book Capitalism: A Short History has been published in Serbian. The events with the renowned social historian from Berlin attracted a lot of audience and media attention. Kocka gave interviews for the newspapers Danas (Jirgen Koka: Marks je bio intelektualni div) and Vreme (Kapitalizam nije kriv za sve), while the radio station Belgrade 3 devoted to him and his work one emission of the Tribine program.

Literature and Rock’n’Roll: Mobile Writers' Colony in Čelobrdo, Montenegro

582 celo brdo“Lifelong Freedom” – this expression, inspired from the freedom discourse of Serbian surrealists from the beginning of the 20th century was the topic of the 4th Mobile Writers’ Colony taking place in Čelobrdo, Kotor, and Budva in Montenegro from 25 September to 10 October. The project was organized by ZMUC from Belgrade and Za Druga from Petrovac and was supported by TRADUKI.
