Three fellowships in the second half of 2017 marked the beginning of the residence program for writers in translators in the House of Literature and Translation in Sofia, the program that is supported by TRADUKI.
Three fellowships in autumn 2017 marked the launch of the program Literary Residency in Cetinje – Writers in the residenz in Cetinje – Writers in the Historic Capital, which means that TRADUKI now supports also a writers in residence program also in Montenegro. The publishing house Otvoreni kulturni forum (OKF), the organizer oft he residency, welcomed Tomislav Marković from Serbia in September, Petar Andonovski from Macedonia in October, and Nenad Rizvanović from Croatia in November.
The young Albanian poet Elona Çuliq was the November guest of the Writers in Residence program Prishtina has no river, which is organized by Qendra Multimedia and supported by TRADUKI. At the end of her stay, she presented her work to the audience in Prishtina. In a discussion with the host Ardiana Shala Prishtina, she gave insights into the creation process of her poems. She also explained what it means to her to write in the Gheg dialect. Following the reading of her poems, she also answered the questions from the audience.
