The Literature and Translation House, managed by the Next Page Foundation, welcomed the German author and translator Thomas Frahm as a December guest of the TRADUKI-supported writers in residence program in Sofia. During his stay, he worked on the German translation of the second volume on the history of Bulgarian literature, written by Milena Kirova. He also used his stay to make new contacts with writers and translators.
Between December 11th–16th, 2018, the 46th International Book Fair and the 6th International Literary Festival took place in Sofia. TRADUKI, together with other partners, was one of the organizers of the literary program Four Countries – One Language, which was the focal program of the festival devoted to literature in German language and with guest writers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
The fair construction used to host the TRADUKI-coordinated program 4 Countries 1 Language at the 62nd international book fair in Belgrade, was a thorough success.
