In April, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian writer Mustafa Zvizdić traveled to Split, where he stayed for one month as a writer in residence within the TRADUKI-supported program Marko Marulić, which is organized by the association KURS from Split. Together with the writer from Split, Nada Topić, he presented his works to the Split audience in a discussion with the host Marijo Glavaš during a literary evening Disku(r)sija on May 12, 2017.
For the start of this year’s writers in residence program run by the association KROKODIL, three writers came to Belgrade with the support of TRADUKI. Each of them spent four weeks in Writers' House working on their new manuscripts and presenting their work to the Belgrade audience. The first guest in January was the writer Lejla Kalamujić from Sarajevo, whose book Zovite me Esteban raised a lot of attention.
This year’s first guest of the writers in residence program Tirana in Between, organized by Poeteka and supported by TRADUKI, was the Albanian poet Daim Miftari from Macedonia. During his stay, he emerged into the cultural life of Tirana. Students of the Faculty of Dramaturgy performed his poetry. Together with Arian Leka, who teaches at the Arts Academy, he held two lectures on cross-border cultural identity of Albanians.
