At the end of October 2011 the Croatian president Ivo Josipović welcomed representatives of the TRADUKI network and of the KURS Association from Split, in order to learn more about the work and results of these two organisations, which, with their activity and translation sponsorship, make a big contribution to the cultural exchange between the countries of South Eastern Europe and the German-speaking area. After a very constructive discussion Ivo Josipović welcomed the idea of taking over the patronage of the residence programme of the KURS Association from Split, and in this way, of supporting efforts to strengthen the cultural dialogue between the countries of the region.
