From 15th – 19th September three female translators and four male translators from Romania, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia, met with the author Dea Loher in the Culture Port of the Mircea Dinescu Foundation in Cetate, Romania, in order to work on the theatre texts of a play by Dea Loher, during a translators’ workshop.

At the "Tribina Traduki" literary evening on 1st September 2011, the moderator Jasen Boko spoke with the Bosnian-French writer, stage director and academic, Jasna Šamić, who is still resident in Split until the end of the month as a grant holder of the "Marko Marulić" residence programme.

Study about literary translations from Bulgarian after 1989

The Bulgarian Foundation, the  "Next Page Foundation" has published the results of a study on literary translations from Bulgarian after 1989. The study with the title Übersetzung und Übergang. Bulgarische Literatur in der Übersetzung (1989-2010): Daten, Beobachtungen und Empfehlungen [Translation and Transfer. Bulgarian Literature in Translation (1989-2010): Dates, Observations and Recommendations] is published on the foundation’s website, a summary in English will also soon be available.
