Literary evening with Vladimir Jankovski in Sarajevo

Vladimir Jankovski and Ahmed Burić
On 25th July 2011 the Macedonian writer, Vladimir Jankovski, who, as grant holder of the European Residence Programme for writers and literary translators lived in Sarajevo for one month, gave a presentation as part of the "Summer Book Fest" Sarajevo literary festival.  Ahmed Burić moderated the literary evening.

Book presentation in Zenica

On 14th July 2011, under the title "Doručak s knjigom" ("Breakfast with book"), the publishing house Vrijeme presented the Bosnian translation, sponsored by TRADUKI, of the book, Nachts unter der steinernen Brücke (title of the English translation: By Night under the Stone Bridge), by Leo Perutz. Vahidin Preljević, Irma Duraković and Željko Grahovac spoke about the book and the authors.

"Crno Ogledalo" by Sarah Kirsch is presented

On 21st July 2011 in Belgrade the Serbian translation of selected poems by the lyric poet Sarah Kirsch was presented. The poems, translated by Snežana Minić and Božidar Zec, have been published under the title Crno ogledalo [Black Mirror] by the publishing house, Agora from Zrenjanin. The reviewer of the book, Tanja Kragujević, and the publisher, Nenad Šaponja presented the life and work of the lyricist, Kirsch, to the audience and read some of her poems. The evening was moderated by Marjan Čakarević.
