Writer-in-Residence-Programm "Marko Marulić"

The association KURS, based in Split, started the Writers in Residence Programme „Marko Marulić" this spring with the support of TRADUKI.  At the suggestion of the Albanian publishing company "Ideart", the first stipend was awarded to the Albanian author, poety, journalist and translator, Milena Selimi.

Presence at the Leipzig Book Fair a great success

Visitors to this year’s Leipzig Book Fair showed great interest in the events organised by the TRADUKI network and its working partners. The South-Eastern Europe programme was also closely followed by the media: “The Book Fair has become a real forum for 'South-East European' and 'post-Yugoslavian' literature”, stated the TAZ newspaper .

Marko Pogačar invited to Berlin

Under the heading of “European Moments” a reading will take place at the Literature Workshop Berlin as part of the Leipzig Book Fair entitled “Minor languages – major literature”, when the Croatian poet Marko Pogačar will read from his volume of poetry “To the Lost Halves" (Edition Korrespondenzen 2010, translator: Alida Bremer). Other guest participants are: Guy Helminger (Luxembourg), Immanuel Mifsud (Malta), Ana Maria Sandu (Romania) and László Végel (Serbia). The event will be chaired by the literary critic Jörg Plath.
