Translations from, to and within South Eastern Europe

Ingo Schulze and Hans-Ulrich Treichel in Tirana

Hans-Ulrich Treichel
As part of the “German October” – a new tradition in Tirana, this year with the theme “20 years since the wall came down” - 2 new novels from contemporary German authors were released in Albanian translation by Ardian Klosi, with support from TRADUKI: Ingo Schulzes “Adam and Evelyn” and Hans-Ulrich Treichels “Lost”.

The Legend of the Global Jewish Conspiracy

The book cover of the Serbian version
On 3 December 2009 the TRADUKI-sponsored translation of the book “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion: the Legend of the Global Jewish Conspiracy” was presented. TRADUKI also supported the launch event with the author organised on 3 December by the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Belgrade and publisher “Prosveta” (represented by the former “Prosveta”-Dean Dejan Mihailovic, who campaigned on behalf of the publication of the book).

Slovenian literary agency has signed up as a supporter of the TRADUKI project

The signing of the contract
The director of the Slovenian literary agency Slavko Pregl and Antje Contius, head of the S.Fischer Foundation, representing the TRADUKI-network have signed a contract as the basis for future co-operation. This means that Slovenia now joins the supporters of the European Network for Literature and Books, from which translators in particular can expect great things.
