The author’s first book, which has been translated into several languages, became a cult novel in the 1990s and is the first part of his tetralogy called Cloaca Maxima.

The novel U potpalublju (title of the English translation: In the Hold) by Vladimir Arsenijević has been translated into Albanian (excerpt) by Ben Andoni under the title Në hambar and published by Poeteka & Ideart in Tirana.
