Ябълката на Сезан

Osti, Josip.

234 ostiSelected poems by the Bosnian poet Josip Osti who has been living since many years in Slovenia and writes now in Slovenian. His poems written in Bosnian or in the „language of memory“ as he calls it deal often with his experience of war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but this subject slowly disappears from his poems written in Slovenian. Osti uses views of nature to go into the human existence by itself and celebrates the life that is due to the ubiquity of death all the more precious.

The poetry book Ябълката на Сезан [Cézanne’s Apple] by Josip Osti has been translated to Bulgarian (excerpt) by Liudmila Mindova, published by Panorama, Sofia.
