wedekind frankFrank Wedekind was born in 1864 in Hanover. He moved to Munich and established the magazine Simplicissimus. Wedekind who fought relentlessly against the bourgeois pseudo-morality wrote in 1891 the socially critical play Frühlings Erwachen (performed in England as Spring Awakening).
