cvetkoski brankoBranko Cvetkoski was born in 1954 in Slatino (Macedonia). He studied philology and worked subsequently as a journalist, editor and head editor for various magazines and publishing houses in Macedonia. He was director of the national theatre and is one of the founders of the literary foundation Balkanika. He is currently the head of the “Miladinov Brothers” library in Skopje. He is a member of the Macedonian PEN, Macedonian Writers' Association and an honorary member of the Association of Bulgarian Writers. He received many awards for his numerous poetry books, critiques and essays. His books have been translated to 15 languages. Cvetkoski, on the other hand, has translated over 30 books from Serbian, Bulgarian, Croatian and Russian.

Beginning of the lyric series tradukita poezio

28_tradukitaIn 2010, in cooperation with the publishing house Edition Korrespondenzen, TRADUKI initiated the poetry series tradukita poezio in order to present distinguished poets from Southeast Europe in their first translations to German. All books in the series are superbly translated and carefully edited bilingual editions.
