During October, the Croatian writer Goran Ferčec took residence in Skopje, where he was a guest of the Absolute modern residential program for writers and translators. Besides working intensely on his new novel, he was a regular in theatre and dance performances and had a presentation for the Macedonian audience. On October 25 in the City Mall in the newly opened bookstore of the publishing house Ikona, he read excerpts from his novel Ovdje neće biti čuda that had been published in Macedonian in the translation of prof. Aleksandar Prokopiev. Upon invitation of prof. Vladimir Martinovski, he met the next day the students of comparative literature at the University of Skopje.
The writer in residence program Absolute modern in Skopje is organized by the publishing house Goten with the support of TRADUKI.
