Jasna Jasna Žmak was Guest in Belgrade’s House for Writers

499 zmak jasnaThe fourth guest of 2016, the young dramaturge Jasna Jasna Žmak from Croatia was writer in residence of the program Kuća za pisce organized by the association KROKODIL from Belgrade. With her debut Moja ti (2015) she raised the public attention to herself and her texts.

During her stay in Belgrade, she worked on her newest manuscript and learnt a lot about the theatre and literary scenes of Serbia. On October 24, she was guest of the youth centre CK13 in Novi Sad. In a public discussion, she talked about her experience as a university lecturer, about her outing as a lesbian, but also about love and intimacy as topics of her texts. At the end of her stay, she was also presented in Belgrade. On October 28, the actor Milica Stefanović read several chapters from the book Moja ti. The writers in residence program Kuća za pisce is organized by the association KROKODIL and supported by TRADUKI.
