For the start of this year’s writers in residence program run by the association KROKODIL, three writers came to Belgrade with the support of TRADUKI. Each of them spent four weeks in Writers' House working on their new manuscripts and presenting their work to the Belgrade audience. The first guest in January was the writer Lejla Kalamujić from Sarajevo, whose book Zovite me Esteban raised a lot of attention.
The February guest was Teodora Dimova from Bulgaria, who writes novels and theatre plays. She explored the Serbian theatre scene and worked on her novel about the life of young women in transition times. Tanja Stupar Trifunović from Bosnia and Herzegovina traveled to Belgrade in March. The Belgrade audience got to know her already in 2016 when she was a guest at the literary festival Krokodil and presented there her award-winning novel Satovi u majčinoj sobi. During her recent stay, she worked on her new novel and a book of poetry.
