The well-known Slovenian writer, playwright and theatre director Vinko Möderndorfer was the writer in residence during November in Split. He used his four-week stay, hosted by the association KURS, mostly to work on his latest writing. He also met up with members of the Slovene Cultural Society Triglav.
His impressions of Split will inspire his future textual and visual project. On November 19, 2018, he participated in a literary evening Disku(r)sija, together with the Croatian film director Dan Oki and the host Marijo Glavaš. They talked about the life in Slovenia and about books and films in general.
