Lindner, Elizabeta


Elizabeta Lindner, born in 1971 in Skopje, studied German Language and Literature at the St. Kyrill University, and Method and Contemporary German Literature and Slavic Studies (Russian and Southern Slavic Literatur) at the University of Regensburg. Since 2006 she has lived in Berlin and worked on cultural projects and as a translator and interpreter. She is the founder and Editor of the literary portal, Her translations from German include works by Walter Vogt, Wilhelm Genazino and Ingo Schulze. Her translations into German include poetry by Doroteja Novosel Balov (Croatia) and plays by the Macedonian dramatists Goce Smilevski, Žanina Mircevska and Venko Andonovski.
