Hadžem Hajdarević, lyricist and prose author, was born in 1956 in Kruševo near Foča (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He studied Literature and Philology in Sarajevo, and worked as an academic staff-member at the Institute of Philology. He is a member of the author association BiH, of the P.E.N centre BiH, and Chairman of the Organisation Committee of the international festival, Sarajevo Poetry Days. Hadžem Hajdarević has published over ten poetry anthologies and several prose works (short stories, columns). He has received many awards in his homeland.

Beginning of the lyric series tradukita poezio

28_tradukitaIn 2010, in cooperation with the publishing house Edition Korrespondenzen, TRADUKI initiated the poetry series tradukita poezio in order to present distinguished poets from Southeast Europe in their first translations to German. All books in the series are superbly translated and carefully edited bilingual editions.
