Балади и разпади

Gospodinov, Georgi.

gospodinov_verbrechen An anthology with poems of  Georgi Gospodinov, one of the most interesting lyric poets of Bulgaria. "These poems are rooted both in the keen attention to the everyday and in sceptical curiosity. They owe everything to thinking through what close scrutiny supplies, they are completely grounded. At the same time they take off punctually and pointedly with proper respect for a higher authority. [...] This poetic planet with a lyrical grandmother, divine friend and total carefree dedication to the natural, human motion of things invites you above all to a pleasurable way of thinking". (From the epilogue by Uwe Kolbe).

Балади и разпади [Ballades and Maladies] by Georgi Gospodinov has been translated into German (excerpt) by Alexander SitzmannValeria Jäger and Uwe Kolbe under the title Kleines, morgendliches Verbrechen, published by Literaturverlag Droschl, Graz and has been translated into Macedonian (excerpt) by Nikola Madžirov under the title Балади и распади, published by Blesok, Skopje.
