z07 betonThe third special edition of the Serbian censorious newspaper Beton is dedicated to a dialogue between, on the one hand, Slovenian authors, and, on the other hand, "all the others" from the countries of the former Yugoslavia ‒ on the topics of globalisation, the crisis in Europe, the problems in the countries, the warlike disputes, nationalism and change of the political and economic system, which they have experienced very closely and have still not arrived “in Europe”.

The BETON Special Edition, 02 (PDF Edition) was published on the occasion of the Leipzig Book Fair in March 2012.

LICHTUNGEN 126 ‒ Neue Literatur aus dem Kosovo

z05 lichtungen naslovnicaLICHTUNGEN ‒ the journal for literature, art and contemporary issues has been published since 1979 in Graz and has developed in recent years, with focal points on international countries and cities, into a well-known literary journal in Austria, Germany and also in South Eastern Europe. It offers an interesting and varied mixture of recent, unknown literature, internationally well-known authors, of recent visual arts and sophisticated essay-writing.

The journal LICHTUNGEN 126/XXXII. Jg./2011, Schwerpunkt: Neue Literatur aus dem Kosovo [Focal point: New Literature from Kosovo], edited by Helwig Brunner, Werner Fenz, Markus Jaroschka and Georg Petz, has been published by the literary circle LICHTUNGEN, Graz.

z04_betonBeton, an independent supplement of the Belgrade daily newspaper Danas for literature, culture and society, is dedicated to literary criticism, analysis of the relationships between nationalistic ideology and culture as well as cultural and educational policy.

Die BETON Spezialausgabe, Stunde Null [BETON Special edition, Hour Zero] (PDF edition) was published as part of the "Authors from South Eastern Europe read in Leipzig" programme, which was organised with the support of the Robert Bosch Foundation, the Leipzig Book Fair and TRADUKI,  as well as other cultural bodies from countries in South Eastern Europe at the Leipzig Book Fair 2010.
