Literaturfestival KaLibar bestival 2016 im kroatischen Zadar

484 kalibarWith the support of TRADUKI and other partners, the writers’ association ZaPis organized the literary festival KaLibar bestival 2016 in Zadar. From September 15 to 17, writers from Croatia and visiting writers from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina took place in literary events in the city on the Adriatic coast. An exhibition, musical evenings and a film screening supplemented the literary program. For the first time, the literary prize Post scriptum for literature on social media was awarded. The winner of 2016 was Hrvoje Marko Peruzović.

Mobile Writers’ Colony in Čelobrdo: Launch of Virtual Museum of Corruption

483 brdoFrom September 25 to October 2, the participants of the third mobile writers’ colony came together in Čelobrdo near Budva (Montenegro). The colony was organized by ZMUC (Belgrade), Za Druga (Petrovac) und Zeta Centre (Tirana) with the support of TRADUKI. The writers Ahmed Burić from Sarajevo, Marko Tomaš from Mostar, Barbi Marković, living and working in Vienna, Brano Mandić from Podgorica and Ana Radmilović from Belgrade worked for one week on the topic of corruption under the guidance of the linguist and writer Pavle Ćosić. The texts they had written were the foundation of the project Muzej korupcije, a virtual museum of corruption. The first exhibits are the texts of the participants that can be read on the blog of the portal Seecult.org.

Create, edit, publish: Grozdev in Pristina

482 grozdev georgiWithin it program Pristina has no river, Qendra Multimedia invited to a literary evening with the Bulgarian writer Georgi Grozdev. He was the writer in residence in Pristina in September 2016. Grozdev talked with Adil Olluri and the German writer and translator Katharina Bendixen about their creativity as writers and about their roles as editors and publishers. They also spoke about the lack of presence of Albanian literature in the international context. The discussion was interpreted by Qerim Ondozi.
