In cooperation with the National Museum of Romanian Literature (MNLR) in Bucharest, TRADUKI for the first time offers two residential fellowships for writers and translators. Eligible to apply are writers from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia, as well as translators who translate from Romanian into German or into languages of the above-mentioned countries. The program offers accommodation in Bucharest as well as a monthly fellowship equal to 800 Euro. Submission deadline is 25th June 2019 and the selection for two fellowships in autumn will be made by 1st July 2019.
In cooperation with TRADUKI, Qendra Multimedia invites writers and translators to apply for a four week residence within the „Pristhina has no river“ program. Available months are September, October or November. The residence includes a use of a fully furnished apartment, covered travel costs, and a fellowship of 700 EUR. Deadline for applications is March 15, 2019.
As a cooperation project of three partners, the Cúirt International Festival of Literature (Ireland) and the Festival of World Literature of the publishing house Fraktura (Croatia), and the International Literary Festival Vilenica (Slovenia), the Emerging Writer on Tour has been launched. The organizers invite young writers (under 35 years old) from all countries within the EU-Program Creative Europe to apply for participation. Successful applicants will visit all three festivals and will get a 10-day residential stay in each of the countries. Deadline for applications is February 18th, 2019.
