The publishing house Goten published an invitation to apply for writer-in-residence fellowships within the TRADUKI supported Absoulte modern program in Skopje. Writers and literary translators from Southeast Europe (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bulgaria, and Romania) can apply for a four-week fellowship in the Macedonian capital until February 15, 2016.
The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) announced the call for applications for Paul Celan Fellowships for translators. The program supports translations of canonical texts and contemporary key works in the humanities, social sciences and cultural studies from Eastern to Western, Western to Eastern, or between two Eastern European languages. The deadline for applications for three- to six-month’s fellowships in Vienna is the March 6, 2016.
In cooperation with TRADUKI, the association Poeteka will continue its European writers in residence program for writers and literary translators Tirana in Between also in 2016. Interested candidates from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia can apply until December 20, 2015 for a one-month residency in Tirana.
