Call for Applications for 2016: Writers in Residence program in Novo Mesto

431 gogaThe time has come again: this year again, there are places available within the Writers in Residence Program of the Goga publishing House in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. The program, launched in 2015 with the support of TRADUKI, offers three working stays (starting on June 4, July 4, and August 4) in a spacious flat in the centre of Novo Mesto. Eligible to apply are prose writers, poets, literary translators, theatre authors and screenwriters from Southeast Europe (Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, and Romania). The focus is on writers who use innovative approaches and deal with contemporary topics, and on translators who translate from and to languages eligible for TRADUKI support.

Prishtina has no river – Fellowships in 2016

427 pristinaIn cooperation with TRADUKI and Goethe-Institut, the cultural institution Qendra Multimedia issued a call for applications for its writers-in-residence program Prishtina has no river. Eligible to apply are writers and literary translators from Southeast Europe (Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Romania, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia) and Germany. Deadline for applications is February 20, 2016.

Skopje: Absolute Modern – Call for Applications for 2016

425 skopjeThe publishing house Goten published an invitation to apply for writer-in-residence fellowships within the TRADUKI supported Absoulte modern program in Skopje. Writers and literary translators from Southeast Europe (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bulgaria, and Romania) can apply for a four-week fellowship in the Macedonian capital until February 15, 2016.
