The Austrian Federal Chancellery of Austria in cooperation with KulturKontakt Austria makes available 50 residencies for foreign artists. The aim of the residencies in Austria (Vienna and Salzburg) is to offer an opportunity to become familiar with the Austrian art scene and cultural environment, as well as to make contacts with Austrian artists. The goal is to realise an own project during the residency. Activities on offer include visits at galleries, studios and museums, contacts to the literature and publishing sector, as well as access to Vienna’s or Salzburg’s music life. Deadline for applications is September 30, 2016.
